Gangarani Keech

Gangarani has been studying yoga since her father first gave her Richard Hittleman's Yoga in highschool, and is certified in both Kundalini and Hatha Yoga. She has taught for the University of Alaska and studios in Alaska and California, as well as privately, and facilitated workshops combining yoga and expressive arts techniques. She holds a master’s degree in counseling, focusing her final work on using yogic breathing to alleviate depression in cardiac trauma survivors. Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a dynamic practice offering tools to balance the human systems through posture, pranayama, meditation, relaxation, and vibration of sacred sounds. Through experience of this yoga, Gangarani has learned that living with courage and creativity is a natural state and a potential we all have in each moment. She gives thanks for several generous women mentors and their artistic spirits.
